Hello, Orchestra Students & Families!

MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR

I would like to start by congratulating each and every one of our students on an amazing first concert! They have made tremendous progress since the first week of school, and I feel that their artistic accomplishments showed through at our first performance of the school year! Thank you so much to every parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, cousin, sibling, a family friend or other loved one who attended our concert- truly, just being present supports our program and helps create a vibrant arts community for everyone to enjoy!

On a small personal note, my last name will be changing from "Allen" to "Hollingsworth". I will be signing newsletters and emails with my new last name, so I wanted to notify everyone of the change to help eliminate confusion.

  • While my name change request waits to be processed by OCPS, my email address will still be raine.allen@ocps.net

  • Once it is completed, my email address will change automatically to raine.hollingsworth@ocps.net seamlessly and still deliver your messages to the same inbox :)

I'd also love to share some photos from Premiere's masterclass with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra! Students had the opportunity to work with three musicians from this world-class ensemble while they were in residency at the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center. We were one of only two high schools in OCPS who had this incredible opportunity!

As always, please call, email, or message with any questions or concerns!

Sincerely, Ms. Raine Hollingsworth
