In order to facilitate a smoother running organization, officers are appointed by the director and/or elected by the orchestra members. Holding one of these positions will not affect a student’s grade, and should be considered a service to the orchestra program. Students in these positions must maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.0. At no time will officers dictate classroom procedures or music selection. The director reserves the right to dismiss any officer for justifiable reasons.
